Twins Turn 1 Month Old Today!!

Happy One Month Birthday to our baby girls! We can't believe it's been a month already since they came to see the world, but we are SO happy they are here. We feel like the luckiest people alive to be parents of these 2 precious little girls!

We've only been home from the hospital for 2 nights, but so far it's all going well and we're loving it! Their breastfeeding, sleeping pretty well in their new beds, and enjoying all the time in mommy & daddy's arms :)

Here are some pics of them on their bday! Thanks to Robin they have stickers to mark them on each month of their 1st year of life! Thanks Robs!!

Kylie & Caelyn Come Home! YAY!!!

We are so happy to let you all know that our little princesses are finally home with us! We slept over at the hospital with them on Monday (22nd) for a trial run. All went amazingly well so we were able to bring them home on Tuesday, Aug. 23rd. They were in the ICU for 30 days in total so you can imagine how ready we were to have them home :)

So far everything is going really well! We're a little sleep deprived, but I think that's to be expected :)

Here are a few pics of our happy family on the day they came home!!

Welcome to our two precious little girls!!!

We are now the very happy and proud new parents of two beautiful little girls Kylie Marie and Caelyn Elizabeth. They were born just after 7:30am on July 25th and weighed 1.7 and 2.1kg!

We are SO lucky and happy that we kept them inside as long as we did! They were born just before 34 weeks and are doing so well. They are still in the ICU, but are very healthy. We expect they'll be home by end of next week or at least we're hoping they'll will be. We can't wait to have our babies home with us and are just waiting for them to be able to feed on their own so they'll release them!!

We are so in love and proud of our little girls. They've already graduated from incubators to cots and have started to breast feed two times a day! I currently spend all day every day at the hospital with them and am so excited to get them home!

I've had a bit of a tough time with infections after my operation, but am slowly getting back on my feet! I'm sorry I'm so late with pictures, but you'll see several posted below! I'm hoping to be able to post more pictures soon, but there just never seems to be enough time. I have a feeling that's now the story of my life :) Hee hee!! It'll be so nice to take pics when they are home so we can dress them in their own clothes, they're not attached to cords, etc!

Andrew and I can't thank our family and friends enough for all of your support, healthy thoughts and congrats! We are truly blessed and appreciate everything you've done for us and our girls!! Fingers crossed they'll be home with us by the end of next week. My bet is Thursday!!

Lots of love and huge hugs!!!
